Purify Masking Ritual

Dead Sea Mud Mask for Face and Decollete

Purify mud mask  benefits dry, oily, mature and normal skin types which makes this precious earth element a must have for your skin care ritual. It is known for its ability to hydrate and firm, while it removes dead cells from the skin's surface. It purges the pores of impurities, balances the skin's oil production while regulating the skin's PH. Furthermore, it enhances skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of pores, and smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Additionally, it accelerates the skin's detoxification process on the surface and in the tissues by gently drawing out visible and invisible impurities such as pollution, allergens, dust and dirt.

Dead Sea mud is known for soothing itchiness and inflammation as well as symptoms associated with dryness, acne, eczema and psoriasis. This mud produces internal heat and stimulates circulation, which has often been used for the reduction in the appearance of cellulite.

As your new Purify Mud Mask dries, it exhibits gentle pulling action that draws out excess oil, tightens, and exfoliates to remove dead skin, which reveals a visibly healthier layer of skin. You may experience tingling and some flushing of the skin which is perfectly normal. If your skin is extremely sensitive in nature, you may mix your mud with some cucumber juice or cooled chamomile tea right before you apply it. While your mask is drying try putting your chamomile tea bags or cucumber slices on your eyes!

While many individuals may notice immediate results after their use of the mud mask, it may take longer others to the improvements in heal and appearance, thus patience and consistent application are required along with a healthy skin care regimen. As with any holistic treatment, we aim to normalize the skin's function rather than fix just one problem.

Your skin wants to shine and be healthy! A proper, consistent skin care ritual can help it do just that.

With a fresh utensil such as a fan brush or wooden stick, take out approximately 1 Tablespoon of Purify, and tightly recap the lid. Dead Sea Mud is very thick so you can add a little water or your favorite toner so the mask spreads thinly and easily. After cleansing with Refresh or one of our Raw Earth Facial bars, apply a thin layer of Purify Mud Mask evenly to the face with fingertips or brush, using gentle upward strokes. The delicate eye area should be avoided to ensure its protection. To soften the skin and effectively purge impurities, the mask can be left on until it dries.

To Remove: To remove the mask, simply place a soaked and wrung out, lukewarm wash cloth (the darker the better) on the face after the mask has dried. Allow it to soften until it can be rinsed away with water, without the skin having to be scrubbed.

Follow Up:  Spray your Sage and Sweetgrass Toner onto a soft cotton pad and gently cleanse the face of all Purify Mud Mask, while bringing the skin back into PH balance. A couple more sprays onto the face to moisten the skin and follow with your favorite Sage and Sweetgrass Serum. If applying as part of your nightly routine, you may also choose to use your Peaceful Sleep roller ball therapy just before tucking into bed.
