Returns & Refunds

At Sage and Sweetgrass, every product is crafted with care and intention, and your happiness genuinely matters to us. We want to be part of your everyday self care rituals so If something isn't right, we want to make it right — please don't hesitate to reach out.

Our return window is 30 days from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, items must be gently used, in their original condition, and in original packaging.

A note on scent and sensory products We understand that aromatherapy is a deeply personal experience. A fragrance that feels grounding to one person may not resonate with another. Because scent preference is subjective, we're unable to accept returns or issue refunds based on personal scent preference alone. We encourage you to explore our product descriptions, scent notes, and customer reviews before purchasing, and we're always happy to help guide you to something you'll love. If you send us an email, an actual human will help you :)

Non-returnable items

  • Gift cards
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts due to reasons not related to our error

Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you by email. Approved refunds are processed to the original card or payment method used at the time of purchase within a few business days. Please note that we are unable to issue refunds to a different card or payment method.

Late or missing refunds Please check your bank account first, then contact your credit card company — processing times vary. If you've done both and still haven't received your refund, reach out to us at info@sageandsweetgrass.ca and we'll sort it out.

Exchanges We replace items that are defective or damaged. Email us at info@sageandsweetgrass.ca to get started.

Gifts If your item was shipped as a gift directly to you, you'll receive store credit for the value of the return. If the order was shipped to the gift giver first, the refund will go back to them.

Return shipping Please mail returns to: 146 Astral Drive, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, CA B2V 1B5. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. For items over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Returns & Refunds not eligible

- Any item not in its original condition, is heavily used or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
