Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates


Simple flat rate shipping: We offer competitive flat rate shipping based on your product's calculated weight and the size of box needed to ship your order in North America.

We offer FREE shipping on all orders over $89.00 CAD.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 363 Caldwell Road, Cole Harbour, NS B2V 1A4 or Bishop's Landing on the Halifax Waterfront (Unit 125). After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

International Shipping

SHIPPING TO THE UNITED STATES

We offer two shipping options for our US customers:

Standard Shipping - $15 CAD

  • Delivery via USPS
  • Estimated delivery: 7-14 business days
  • Please note: Duties and taxes may be collected by the carrier at the time of delivery. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the shipping cost.

Express Shipping (All Fees Included) - $25 CAD

  • Delivery via UPS or DHL Express
  • Estimated delivery: 3-7 business days
  • All duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are included - no surprise charges at delivery
  • Fully tracked service

All international shipments include customs documentation and tracking information.


For Standard Shipping orders, your shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes which are collected by the carrier at delivery. For Express Shipping orders, all duties and taxes are prepaid and included in your shipping cost.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at infor@sageandsweetgrass.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

We are unable to ship to PO Boxes.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible atinfo@sageandsweetgrass.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
